My super cute and talented sister-in-law made this darling tie onesie, and was generous to let us borrow a bunch of baby clothes that her boy has recently outgrown. Thanks Christy, the clothes fit great and they are so cute!

Everyone says that in this last picture he looks like me when I was a baby. I see it, for sure. Some pictures he is all Travis, all me, or perfect mix. As his parents, we of course think he is an even blend of Travis and me. Thanks to Liz for taking these pics!

Cuddle bug

I love my little cuddly boy. Recently he will only be comforted by me holding him really close on my chest and swaying. Then he falls asleep. Kinda makes it hard to get anything done, but I absolutely love snuggling and holding him close. These are the moments I love the best. I will cherish them and hold them dear forever.

Phineas' blessing day

Phineas was blessed on Sunday and it went really well! He didn't make a peep the entire time and the actual blessing was very beautiful.
We got this cute outfit for him. He was so darling!



We just can't get enough of him and feel so blessed to be his parents.

Sneak preview of blessing outfit

We bought this for phineas' baby blessing outfit. The whole get up was 15 bucks! The white outfit we had did not fit him at all and some baby blessing outfits are way too expensive. So we went non-traditional and went with a colored suit. That way he can wear it to church on Sundays. He wasn't too happy about us trying it on him though! But he sure looks dashing!

Swaddled glow worm

Here at our house the swaddle works wonders for our babe. He calms right down and sleeps longer because he doesn't jolt awake when he hits himself in the face. He still doesn't have good control over his arms and hands! We are working on it though. Here are some pics of his swaddle blankets and one swaddle pod, the one that zips up. I think that is our fav for night time because it has easy access to change his diaper and also allows him some wiggle room.

He just looks more serene than when he is asleep without the swaddle. Don't you agree?
